Lionel Messi Breaks Another Record In UEFA Champions League

Leo can't just stop breaking records can He? The Barcelona forward again today smashed the record set by former Real Madrid striker Raul Gonzalez after he broke the record set by Telmo Zarra(251), setting a record of 253 goals and still counting as his stay in the Spanish side is not yet over.
Raul finished his career scoring 71 Champions league goals and since has been the top scorer in the competition, but today in the match Barcelona had against Apoel Nicosia his long time record was broken by the four time Ballon d'or winner Lionel Messi.

Tensions were high during the match but they were calm when Luis Suarez scored his first goal for the club with a sublime finish after he went past a defender. After Messi finished the job with a hat-trick becoming the leading all time goal scorer in the UEFA Champions League. Messi now has 74 goals to his name, followed by Raul with 71 goals and after Christiano Ronaldo with 70 goals. Real Madrid has a game in hand tomorrow with Basel and I know Ronaldo will have his eye set on also breaking the current record set by Messi.
